Some of the key highlights of these sessions are:
I work closely with you and your child to set clear, achievable goals that matter to your family, whether it’s improving movement, balance, or strength.
Every child is different, so I create a therapy plan tailored just for them. I address their specific challenges, like motor skills, coordination, or muscle weakness, with a plan that fits their needs.
I use various techniques and tools to help build strength, improve movement, and boost your child’s confidence in their abilities. Ask me to know more.
I believe parents and caregivers are a vital part of the therapy process. You’ll be involved in every step, learning how to support your child’s progress even after the sessions are over.
These sessions typically run over a few weeks, with frequent appointments to focus on specific goals. This concentrated approach can lead to noticeable improvements in a shorter time.
These intensive sessions are perfect for children who need extra support due to developmental delays, neurodevelopmental challenges, or complex physical needs. My goal is to create a supportive, positive environment where your child can achieve their full potential, all while keeping you informed and involved every step of the way.
When you contact the physiotherapist, a free 30-minute consultation will be scheduled to determine if your child is ready and suitable for an intensive therapy program. If your child is deemed suitable, you will receive all the necessary paperwork, including the intensive schedule. Once you decide on the intensive block you’d like to book, complete and submit the required paperwork. The block cost will then be confirmed, and a service agreement will be sent to you, which must be signed and returned before the block begins. Before the first session, it is recommended to gather the latest reports from medical professionals and other therapists involved in your child’s care. During the initial session, a detailed history will be documented, and assessments will be conducted to address your concerns and create a personalized therapy plan with clear goals for the intensive block. On the final day of the three-week program, reassessments will be completed to measure progress toward the goals. A detailed 1-hour report summarizing the results of the intensive block will be emailed to you and shared with relevant medical and allied health professionals to ensure everyone involved in your child’s care remains updated and aligned.
