• Tailored to Your Child’s Needs: Every child is unique, and so are their equipment needs. I carefully assess your child’s physical abilities, goals, and daily activities to recommend equipment that best supports their mobility, posture, and independence.

• Wide Range of Equipment: I can prescribe a variety of equipment, including:

  • Wheelchairs and walkers for children who need help with mobility.

  • Standing frames to support weight-bearing and promote standing.

  • Orthotics, such as braces or splints, to improve alignment and support. This includes postural garments such as Dynamic Movement Orthoses (DMO), Second Skins, SPIO, Turtle Brace etc.

  • Positioning aids, like seating systems or cushions, for comfort and posture support.

• Maximizing Comfort and Function: The right equipment can help your child move more easily, reduce the risk of injury, and increase their participation in activities at home, school, and play. I will make sure your child is comfortable and confident with their equipment, providing the necessary adjustments and training.

• Family and School Involvement: I work closely with you and your child’s school or daycare to ensure the prescribed equipment fits seamlessly into their daily routine. I will teach you how to use and care for the equipment so that it becomes an effective part of your child’s life.
