Every baby is unique, and early intervention plays a critical role in their growth and development. Our specialized Infant Physiotherapy service is designed to support your baby’s physical milestones in a nurturing, family-centered environment.
Whether your little one is facing developmental delays or needs extra help with motor skills, the therapy is designed to gently guide them through their early milestones.
Early Intervention: The first few months and years are key to your baby’s development. The infant physiotherapy session focuses on supporting healthy growth and addressing any concerns early on, so your baby can build strong foundations for movement, coordination, and strength.
Gentle, Age-Appropriate Care: safe, gentle techniques specifically designed for babies are used. From improving head control and tummy time to supporting crawling and early walking, each session is tailored to your baby’s age and abilities.

Supportive environment: As parents and carers you play an essential role in your baby’s progress. While hands-on therapy is provided, exercises and handling techniques to fit into your home schedule are also taught to you so that the “therapy” can extend from the clinic into your home and into your family’s daily routine.
On getting in touch with the physiotherapist, submit all the paperwork needed to start the initial session. At the initial session it would be advisable to get the Blue book. A thorough and comprehensive history will be documented, and assessments will be done. Depending on the findings, your concerns will be addressed, and a therapy plan will be formulated. This will focus on how many sessions as well as how often. The session cost will be confirmed. Once you consent to the therapy plan, future appointments will be booked. The physiotherapist will also tell you about any rebate possibilities through EPC (Medicare) or private health. If any concerns are observed which are out of the scope of the treating physiotherapist, then appropriate referrals to specialists are also discussed. If your infant already has an NDIS plan then NDIS details and service agreements are processed. All reports and letters to medical and other allied health professionals will be provided at the cost of time taken to complete the reports and letters.
